A free link in bio page you host yourself
A link-in-bio page is one small web page that holds every link you want to share from a profile that allows only one: your pictures, your shop, your latest video, an email address. This link in bio page maker builds that page in your browser and hands you a single index.html file. You upload it to any web host, so the page, and its address, belong to you.
There is no hosting, no account and no tracking on our side. The tool never stores your page or counts your visitors, and the file it makes has no scripts, no analytics and no external requests; it uses the fonts already on your visitors’ devices, so it loads instantly and looks the same everywhere.
How to use the Link-in-Bio Page Maker
- Enter your name and a short bio. Optionally add an avatar: it is cropped to a square and shrunk to 256 pixels.
- Pick a theme, button style and corner shape, or choose your own colours. A note under the colours warns if the text is hard to read.
- Add your links: a label and an address starting with https://, http://, mailto: or tel:. Reorder them with the arrows.
- Check the phone preview, then press Download index.html (or copy the HTML).
- Upload the file to a static host or your own site and put its address in your profile. A QR code of that address is one step away in the QR Code Generator.

One self-contained file
Inline CSS and an embedded avatar. No scripts, no fonts or images fetched from elsewhere.
No hosting or accounts
Nothing is uploaded. You decide where the page lives and who can see its statistics.
Safe by construction
All your text is escaped, only web, email and phone links are kept, and the page carries a strict content-security policy.
Five themes plus custom colours
Midnight, sunrise, forest, paper and berry, with solid, outline or soft buttons and three corner shapes.
Readable by default
Button text colour is picked for contrast and the tool tells you when your text and background are too close.
Mobile first
A single column that fits any phone, with large tap targets and reduced-motion support.
What a valid link looks like
| You type | The page uses | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| https://example.com/shop | https://example.com/shop | Kept as written. |
| example.com/shop | https://example.com/shop | A bare domain gets https://. |
| hello@example.com | mailto:hello@example.com | An email address becomes a mail link. |
| tel:+15551234567 | tel:+15551234567 | A phone link; digits, +, brackets, spaces and dashes only. |
| javascript:… or data:… | dropped | Only http, https, mailto and tel are allowed. |
Where to put the file
Any place that serves static files will do: a free static host, your own domain, an object-storage bucket with public hosting, or a shared-hosting folder. Name the file index.html and put it where the address you want points at, for example the root folder for your main domain or a links folder for yourname.com/links. Most hosts let you connect your own domain for free.
Because the page has no tracking, you will not get visitor counts from it. If you want statistics, use the analytics tools your host provides, which count visits without adding code to the file.
Worked example: file size
The default page with four links and no avatar is under 3 KB. Adding a 256-pixel avatar adds roughly 10–25 KB, depending on the picture, because it is stored inside the file as a base64 image. Even a page with 30 links and an avatar stays under 40 KB, which loads in a fraction of a second on a slow mobile connection.
Tips
- Put the link you most want clicked first, and keep labels short and specific: “Book a session” beats “Click here”.
- Use the contrast note: aim for 4.5:1 between text and background.
- Use a square avatar with the face in the centre; the crop is centred.
- Tick the no-index box if the page should only be reachable by people who already have the address.
Link-in-Bio Page Maker FAQ
Is this link in bio tool really free?
Yes. There is no account, no watermark and no limit on visitors, because the page is just a file you host yourself. You pay only for hosting, if your host charges.
Do you host my page?
No. This tool never stores or serves your page. You download index.html and upload it to any web host.
Can I use my own domain?
Yes, if your host supports it. Put the file at the address you want, such as your main domain or a /links folder.
Are my visitors tracked?
Not by this page. It contains no scripts or analytics, and it makes no requests apart from the links people click.
Why was my link left out?
It needs a label and an address that starts with https://, http://, mailto: or tel:. Anything else, such as javascript: or data: links, is removed for safety.
Can I edit the page later?
Yes, but the file is not saved here. Keep the downloaded index.html, and to change it later rebuild it with the same details, or edit the HTML in any text editor.
