Measure, cut, knit and choose colours with sizes and rules you can check
These free tools help with clothes, sewing and personal style, in your browser and with nothing uploaded. For sizing, the bra size calculator gives UK, US, EU, FR and AU sizes with sister sizes, the belt size calculator works from your waist or a belt you own, the necklace length chart shows where each chain sits, the glasses frame size guide decodes the numbers on a frame, and the pupillary distance calculator measures PD from a photo with a bank card for scale.
For tailoring, the blouse measurement chart and kurti measurement chart explain each measurement, work out fabric for 36, 44 or 58-inch cloth and print a card for your tailor. The fabric calculator for clothing, circle skirt calculator, saree length guide and curtain fabric calculator draw the cutting layout, and the quilt calculator adds up blocks, borders, backing and binding.
For knitting and crochet, the knitting increase and decrease calculator spreads stitches evenly and the yarn calculator estimates skeins from a swatch. For hair and colour, there is the hair growth calculator, the hair dye developer ratio calculator, the face shape detector, the skin undertone test and a seasonal personal colour analysis.
How to read the results
- Sizes vary by brand. Size charts and conversions are a starting point. Always check the brand's own chart, and try on where you can.
- Estimates are labelled. Fabric allowances, flare and ease are simplified from published sewing methods, and each page says which numbers are its own estimates. You can edit every allowance.
- Style tools are for fun. Face shape, undertone and colour seasons are style conventions, not science. Lighting, cameras and screens change what a photo shows.
Related tools elsewhere on the site
- Size converters. The clothing size converter, shoe size converter and ring size chart are in the unit converters sector.
- Colour from a photo. The colour picker from image reads the exact colour of any pixel.
Fashion & Beauty: frequently asked questions
Are these fashion tools free?
Yes. They are free, need no account and run in your browser. Photos you use for pupillary distance, face shape or undertone are processed on your device and never uploaded.
How do I measure my bra size at home?
Measure snugly around your ribcage just under the bust, then loosely around the fullest part of the bust. The bra size calculator rounds the underbust to a band size and turns the difference into a cup letter for UK, US, EU, FR and AU sizing.
How much fabric do I need for a blouse?
For a typical saree blouse with short sleeves, about 0.75 to 1 metre of 44-inch fabric, and more for elbow or full sleeves or narrower cloth. The blouse measurement chart works it out from your measurements and draws the cutting layout.
Can a photo measure my pupillary distance accurately?
Usually to within about 1 to 2 mm if the card is flat against your forehead and you look straight at the camera. For prescription glasses, use the measurement from your optician.
Is the face shape detector accurate?
It measures the ratios you mark, or that an optional on-device model finds, and compares them with common stylist descriptions. Face shapes are a style guide, so the page shows your ratios and the next-closest shape too.
