House number numerology calculator, including letters like 12B
In numerology a home is given a number, found by adding the digits of the house or flat number until one digit is left. This free house number numerology calculator does that and also handles numbers with letters, such as 12B or 7A, which many calculators ignore. It shows the working, a short description of the number, the numbers on either side (useful if you are choosing between flats) and a comparison with your own mulank and bhagyank.
The descriptions are the keywords commonly published in numerology books, and they are not a survey of anything real. A house number cannot change your health or luck, so this page is for tradition and entertainment, not prediction or advice.
How to use the House Number Numerology Calculator
- Type the house or flat number, for example 12B or 304.
- Choose whether letters are added, and which letter table to use. Pythagorean (A=1, B=2…) is the usual choice for house letters.
- Optionally add your date of birth.
- Read the number, the working line, the description and the nearby numbers.
- Press Copy result to keep the working.
House Number Numerology Calculator features
Letters handled
A letter attached to a digit (12B, 7A, B-12) is valued and added; words such as “Flat” or “Tower” are left out and listed.
Two letter tables
Pythagorean by default, Chaldean if that is your tradition.
Master numbers
11, 22 and 33 are shown as 11/2, 22/4 and 33/6.
Nearby numbers
The numbers around yours, so you can compare flats on the same floor.
Birth-number match
Compared with your mulank and bhagyank.
How a house number is reduced
Add the digits: 304 is 3 + 0 + 4 = 7. A multi-digit total is added again until one digit remains, so 29 is 2 + 9 = 11, and 11 is kept as a master number (shown 11/2). With a letter, give it a value and add it: in the Pythagorean table B is 2, so 12B is 1 + 2 + 2 = 5. In the Chaldean table the letters follow a different chart, which is why 4F is 1 in one and 3 in the other.
Practitioners disagree about letters, so the page shows both ways. “Digits only” is the plainest rule and is what most printed charts use; “digits and letters” is common in Western books for addresses such as 12B.

Matching the house to you
Indian practice compares the house number with the owner’s mulank (day of birth) and bhagyank (whole date): an equal number is the closest match, and numbers in the same family (1-5-7, 2-4-8, 3-6-9) are treated as friendly. Authors differ, so treat it as a conversation piece. For the number plate or phone number see the mobile and vehicle number calculator, and for your own lucky numbers the lucky number calculator.
House Number Numerology Calculator FAQ
How do I calculate house number numerology?
Add the digits of the house number until you reach one digit (keeping 11, 22 and 33 if you use master numbers). The calculator shows the working.
How do I handle a letter, like 12B?
Give the letter its value (B is 2 in the Pythagorean table) and add it. The calculator lets you choose digits only, or digits and letters.
What does house number 7 mean in numerology?
It is described as a private, reflective home, good for study and quiet. That is a tradition, not a fact.
Which house number is luckiest?
No number is luckier. Some books favour a number that matches your mulank or bhagyank; the calculator shows whether it does.
Should I count the building or street?
Some practitioners add the building number separately. Calculate each and compare; the page treats only the number you type.
Does a house number with a letter change the answer?
It can. 12B is 3 on digits alone and 5 with the B, so check both if you are curious which your tradition uses.
