Match with your birth numbers

Your mulank 6 (day 15), bhagyank 2 (38 → 11 → 2).

The root 5 does not match your mulank 6 or bhagyank 2, and is in a different number family (1-5-7 against 3-6-9 and 2-4-8). Books suggest other digits; this page gives no verdict beyond that.

Mobile and vehicle number numerology calculator

Many people in India and elsewhere check whether a mobile number or a car number “adds up” well. This free mobile and vehicle number numerology calculator shows the whole working: the total of the digits, the compound number (the total before it is cut to one digit), the single-digit root with its planet, and the letters of a number plate valued by the Chaldean or Pythagorean table.

If you add your date of birth it compares the root with your mulank and bhagyank. A phone number or a plate cannot change luck or safety: this page is for tradition and entertainment, not prediction or advice.

How to use the Mobile & Vehicle Number Numerology Calculator

  1. Choose Mobile number or Vehicle number.
  2. Type the number. For a plate, include the letters, for example MH 12 AB 4521.
  3. For a plate, pick the letter table (Chaldean is the usual choice in India) and whether to add the letters.
  4. Optionally add your date of birth to see the match.
  5. Read the root, the compound number, the digit table and the match, then Copy result.

Mobile & Vehicle Number Numerology Calculator features

Total, compound and root

Chaldean or Pythagorean values for the letters in a registration number, added or ignored at your choice.

A +91 style prefix can be ignored so only the last ten digits count.

How the number is worked out

Add every digit of the number. The mobile number 98220 41357 gives 9 + 8 + 2 + 2 + 0 + 4 + 1 + 3 + 5 + 7 = 41, and 4 + 1 = 5. The 41 is the compound number and the 5 is the root, which Indian numerology links with Mercury. Cheiro’s tables give keywords to the compounds 10 to 31 (for example 27, “reward for effort”); above 31 the compound is read as its single digit.

For a vehicle plate such as MH 12 AB 4521 the digits add to 15 and the letters M, H, A, B are worth 4 + 5 + 1 + 2 = 12 in the Chaldean table, so the total is 27 and the root 9. Counting digits only gives 15 and 6. Practitioners differ about whether letters count, so the page lets you choose and shows both totals.

Matching with your birth numbers

The match compares the root with your mulank (the day of birth reduced) and bhagyank (every digit of the date reduced). An equal number is the closest match. The popular “number families” 1-5-7, 2-4-8 and 3-6-9 are used as a softer link. Authors disagree about which numbers are friendly, so the page gives no verdict beyond what it states. For your own lucky numbers see the lucky number calculator; for a house or flat, the house number calculator.

The numbers and their planets

Indian numerology gives each digit a planet. Rahu (4) and Ketu (7) are shadow planets.

Mobile & Vehicle Number Numerology Calculator FAQ

How do I check mobile number numerology?

Add all the digits and reduce to one digit. The calculator shows the total, the root and the planet; for 9822041357 that is 41 → 5.

Does numerology by date of birth matter for a mobile number?

Traditional books compare the number’s root with your mulank and bhagyank. Add your date of birth to see that comparison. It is a belief, not evidence.

Do letters count in a car number?

Some practitioners add the letters with Chaldean values, others use only the digits. The calculator shows both totals.

Should I include the +91 country code?

Most practitioners use only the ten-digit number, which is the default here. Untick the option to count the whole thing.

What is a compound number?

It is the total before it is reduced to one digit. In the Chaldean tradition, compound numbers from 10 to 31 have their own keywords.

Is one number lucky for a vehicle?

No number makes a vehicle safer or luckier. Drive carefully; numerology is for entertainment.
