Everything is drawn in your browser; your brand name is never uploaded.

Runs entirely in your browser. Nothing you enter or upload is sent to a server.

A free logo maker that gives you real files

This free logo maker turns a brand name and an optional slogan into twenty logo designs at once — icon beside the name, icon on top, badge, monogram, circle mark, an emblem with the name curved around a ring, wordmark and framed versions — each mixing a different icon, font pairing and palette. Click the closest one and refine it: icon, fonts, colours, icon size, letter spacing or layout.

It suits the times you need a decent mark today: a side project, a market stall, a newsletter, a club, a placeholder before you hire a designer. You get a scalable SVG with its fonts embedded, a PNG up to 4096 pixels with or without a background, and a favicon pack.

Everything is drawn in your browser. Nothing you type is uploaded, there is no account and no watermark.

How to use the Logo Maker

  1. Type your Brand name and, if you like, a Slogan. The thumbnails redraw as you type; words such as “coffee”, “garden” or “travel” bring matching icons forward.
  2. Click the thumbnail you like. More ideas shuffles icons, fonts and colours.
  3. Under Edit your logo, change the Layout, Font pairing, capitals, icon, Icon size, Icon line weight and Letter spacing.
  4. Pick a Palette and fine-tune any of the six colours. Tick Transparent background for logos that sit on photos.
  5. Choose a PNG size and canvas, then press Download SVG, Download PNG or Favicon pack (ZIP).

Logo Maker features

Twenty layouts per name

Ten layout families, each shown twice with different icons, fonts and palettes, measured around your actual text.

83 line icons

Generic Lucide icons — leaf, coffee, mountain, rocket, paw print and more — drawn as round-ended strokes at the weight you choose.

Twelve font pairings

Six use typefaces hosted with this site (Unbounded, Space Grotesk, JetBrains Mono), embedded in the SVG; the rest use system fonts such as Georgia and Impact.

One drawing, two renderers

A single layout engine feeds both the SVG writer and the canvas renderer, so the PNG never depends on how a browser rasterises SVG text.

Favicon pack

16, 32, 180 and 512 px PNGs plus the HTML tags in one ZIP. The 180 px Apple touch icon is opaque, as iOS expects.

Making a logo that still works at 16 pixels

  • Watch the favicon preview. If the icon blurs at 16 px, raise the line weight or pick a simpler shape.
  • Keep strong contrast between the shape and the text on it — WCAG 2 asks for 4.5:1 for normal text and 3:1 for graphics. Test pairs with the Contrast Checker.
  • Two colours plus the background are usually enough; the Color Palette Generator helps you choose them. Export a light and a dark version rather than inverting a finished file.

SVG, PNG and favicon files explained

To convert another SVG use SVG to PNG; for a favicon.ico made from an existing picture, use the Favicon Generator.

Trademarks, ownership and licences

Generated logos are not checked against any trademark register and are not registered for you. Icons and fonts are openly licensed building blocks, so another business may use the same leaf or typeface. Before you print or apply for protection, search the official database where you trade — the USPTO in the US, the UK Intellectual Property Office, or India’s trade marks registry — and consider asking a trademark attorney. This is general information, not legal advice.

Icons come from Lucide (ISC licence). Unbounded, Space Grotesk and JetBrains Mono use the SIL Open Font License 1.1, which allows embedding them in logo files.

Logo Maker FAQ

Is this logo maker really free?

Yes. No account, no watermark, no paid tier: the SVG, PNG up to 4096 px and the favicon pack are all free.

Can I trademark a logo made with this free logo maker?

You may be able to register your name, or a logo that includes it, but the icon alone is an open-licensed shape anyone can use. Search the register first and ask a professional if the brand matters.

How do I get a logo with a transparent background?

Tick Transparent background — the preview shows a checkerboard — then download the PNG or SVG.

Why does my SVG look different in another program?

System-font pairings name fonts such as Georgia or Impact, and devices without them substitute another. Some editors ignore embedded web fonts too. Convert text to outlines, or use the PNG, which is exactly what you see.

Does the logo maker save my work?

Your latest name, slogan and design are kept in this browser’s local storage. Nothing is sent to a server; clearing site data removes them.

Can I use accents or other scripts?

Common accented Latin letters are in the hosted fonts. Scripts such as Devanagari or Arabic fall back to fonts on your device: they display and export to PNG, but the SVG relies on the viewer having a suitable font.
