How to convert EPUB to PDF

Real text, not screenshots
Text is placed as real PDF text using embedded Noto fonts, so you can search, select, copy and have it read aloud. The same font files are used for layout and output, so letters land exactly where the browser placed them.
Faithful to the book’s CSS
Each chapter is rendered with the publisher’s stylesheet — headings, indents, alignment, small caps, borders, shaded boxes and tables — then cut into pages without splitting lines or images.
Linked contents and bookmarks
The contents page lists every chapter and section with page numbers and dot leaders; each entry, every internal link in the text and the PDF bookmark panel jump straight to the right page.
Page size and large print
A4, US Letter, A5, 6 × 9 and 5 × 8 inch pages, three margin widths and font sizes from 10 to 18 point.
Cover and images
The cover fills its own page, JPEG photos are embedded without re-compression, other images are converted at print resolution, and SVG illustrations are rasterised sharply.
Safe by design
Scripts in the EPUB are removed and the layout runs in a sandboxed frame with scripting disabled. DRM-protected books are detected and explained.

Good to know
- Fonts: text is set in Noto Serif, Noto Sans and Noto Sans Mono (SIL Open Font License), chosen to match the book’s serif, sans-serif or monospace styling. Characters those fonts lack, such as Chinese, Japanese, Devanagari or Arabic script, are placed as small images so they still look right, but they cannot be selected.
- Fixed-layout EPUBs (comics, children’s picture books) are designed as pages already; they convert, but the result follows the PDF page size you choose.
- DRM-protected books (Adobe, Apple, Kobo, Readium LCP) cannot be opened, and this tool does not remove DRM.

Is the text in the PDF selectable and searchable?
Yes. The PDF contains real text in embedded fonts, so you can search, copy and highlight it. Only characters outside the Noto fonts (for example CJK or Indic scripts) are placed as images.
Will the PDF keep the table of contents?
Yes. A contents page with page numbers is added after the cover, every entry links to its page, and the same structure appears as PDF bookmarks in your PDF reader’s sidebar.
Can I make a large-print PDF?
Yes. Choose 16 pt or 18 pt in Font size. The whole book reflows at the larger size before it is cut into pages.
Why can’t I convert a book I bought?
Most store-bought EPUBs are protected by DRM, which encrypts the chapters. The converter recognises Adobe, Apple, Kobo and Readium LCP protection and explains why it cannot open the file.
Is my ebook uploaded?
No. The EPUB is read, laid out and turned into a PDF on your device; only the open-source libraries and fonts are downloaded.
