Crypto Mining Calculator – Any Proof-of-Work Coin, GPU, CPU or ASIC

Coins and profit per day for any proof-of-work coin from your hashrate, network hashrate, block reward and power.

Mining income is uncertain. Network hashrate, rewards and prices change daily, and small coins can lose most of their value. Estimates from the numbers you type — not advice.

Price is held constant. Halvings, reward reductions and difficulty changes are not modelled except through the growth figure.

Mining earnings for any proof-of-work coin

Every proof-of-work coin pays miners the same way on average: your share of the network’s hashrate, times the number of blocks found per day, times the reward per block. This crypto mining calculator does that sum for any coin and any hardware — CPU, GPU or ASIC — and subtracts the pool fee and your electricity bill to show profit per day, per month and over the next twelve months.

You type the network hashrate, block time and block reward, so the page works for coins no other calculator lists. Presets fill the block time and reward for a few well-known coins (Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Litecoin, Dogecoin, Monero and Kaspa), but the network hashrate and price are always yours to enter, because they change every day. For Bitcoin with live difficulty, use the Bitcoin mining calculator.

All figures are estimates at a constant price; not financial advice.

How to use the Crypto Mining Calculator

  1. Pick a preset or keep “Custom coin” and enter the coin symbol, block time and block reward.
  2. Enter your hashrate and the network hashrate with their units (H/s up to EH/s).
  3. Enter the pool fee, coin price, currency, power draw and electricity price.
  4. Optionally set uptime, a monthly network growth assumption and the hardware cost.
  5. Read profit per day, break-even figures, payback and the 12-month projection.

Crypto Mining Calculator features

Any algorithm

Works for SHA-256, Scrypt, RandomX, kHeavyHash, Ethash-style coins and anything else, from H/s to EH/s.

Presets for constants only

Block time and current reward; never a stale network hashrate.

Efficiency in your unit

Shows joules per hash unit, e.g. J/GH for Scrypt or J/kH for CPUs.

Break-even

Electricity price and coin price at which mining just pays for its power.

Solo odds

Average time for your hashrate to find a block alone.

The share-of-network formula

coins per day = (your hashrate ÷ network hashrate) × (86,400 ÷ block time) × (reward + fees) × (1 − pool fee). Electricity is watts × 24 ÷ 1,000 × price per kWh. With network growth g per month, each month’s coins are divided by (1 + g) raised to the months elapsed.

Worked example: 10 GH/s on a 1.5 PH/s network is a 0.000667% share. With 150-second blocks (576 a day) and 6.25 coins each, that is 0.024 coins a day, or 0.02376 after a 1% pool fee. At $300 a coin, revenue is $7.13; a 3,400 W machine at $0.08 per kWh uses $6.53 of power, leaving $0.60 a day.

What the estimate leaves out

  • Merged mining. Scrypt miners often earn Litecoin and Dogecoin together; add both results.
  • Hardware reality. Fans, cooling, PSU losses and downtime; set uptime below 100% if needed.
  • Pool schemes and luck. PPS, FPPS and PPLNS pay differently; small pools have more variance.
  • Tax. Mined coins may be income or taxed on sale depending on your country.

Where to find the network numbers

Most block explorers and mining pools show the current network hashrate, the average block time and the latest block reward on their front or statistics page. Use an average over a few days rather than a single reading, because short-term hashrate estimates swing with luck. For your own hashrate, use what your miner software reports after it has warmed up, not the box figure. Compare with your electricity bill using the electricity bill calculator.

Crypto Mining Calculator FAQ

How do I calculate crypto mining profit?

Divide your hashrate by the network hashrate, multiply by blocks per day and the reward, subtract the pool fee, multiply by the price and subtract electricity.

What is a hashrate calculator?

It turns a hashrate into expected coins. Enter your hashrate and the network hashrate, and the page shows your share and earnings.

Is GPU mining still profitable?

It depends on the coin, its price and your electricity. Enter your card’s hashrate and watts; the break-even electricity price shows the limit.

Can I use it for Monero CPU mining?

Yes. Choose the Monero preset, enter your kH/s and the network hashrate from an explorer.

Why are Kaspa rewards not filled in?

Kaspa’s reward per block falls every month, so type the current figure from a block explorer.

Is this financial advice?

No. It is an estimate from the numbers you enter.
