PPTX to JPG

Turn every PowerPoint slide into a JPG at 1280, 1920 or 4K width — one ZIP, converted in your browser.

Drop a PowerPoint file (.pptx) here or click to choose Slides are drawn in your browser · the presentation is never uploaded

Runs entirely in your browser. Nothing you enter or upload is sent to a server.

Convert PPTX to JPG — every slide as a picture

The PPTX to JPG converter saves the slides of a PowerPoint presentation as JPG images. Drop a .pptx file, choose how wide the pictures should be — 1280, 1920 or 3840 pixels — and press Convert to JPG. You get one JPG per slide, packed into a single ZIP, ready to post on social media, paste into a chat, upload to a learning platform or drop into a document.

JPG is the most widely accepted image format there is: every phone, email program, website builder and print shop opens it, and it keeps photo-heavy slides small. A quality slider lets you trade a little sharpness for much smaller files, so a 30-slide deck can fit in an email.

The presentation never leaves your device. The slides are drawn in your browser by the open-source pptx-preview engine and captured with html2canvas — useful for board papers, pitch decks, exam material and anything else that shouldn’t sit on a stranger’s server.

How to convert PowerPoint slides to JPG

  1. Drop your .pptx file on the upload area, or click it to choose one. Every slide appears in the preview; hidden slides are shown faded.
  2. Pick an Image width: 1280 px for email and the web, 1920 px for Full HD screens, 3840 px for 4K displays and print.
  3. Optionally type which Slides you want, such as 1-5, 8, and set the JPG quality.
  4. Press Convert to JPG. One slide downloads as a single JPG; several download as a ZIP.
  5. Need one slide again? Each picture in the results has its own download button.

PPTX to JPG features

Three exact sizes

Slides come out exactly 1280, 1920 or 3840 pixels wide; the height follows the deck’s shape — 720, 1080 or 2160 px for 16:9, or 960, 1440 or 2880 px for 4:3.

ZIP of all slides

Files are numbered in slide order (deck-slide-01.jpg, deck-slide-02.jpg …), so they sort correctly everywhere.

Choose slides

Convert the whole deck, one slide or any mix of ranges.

Hidden slides handled

Slides hidden in PowerPoint are skipped, as PowerPoint’s own export does — tick one box to include them.

Quality slider

From 50% for tiny files to 100% for maximum detail; 92% looks the same as the original on most slides.

No upload, no watermark

Everything runs in your browser, and the images carry no branding.

Which width should I choose?

Larger pictures make bigger files. If an upload form has a size limit, use 1280 px, lower the quality a little, or shrink the result with Image Compressor.

JPG or PNG for slides?

JPG compresses with small, usually invisible losses, which makes it ideal for slides full of photos and gradients. Slides that are mostly text, flat colours and thin lines can show faint smudges around letters at low quality; keep the quality above 85% for those, or use PPTX to PNG, which is lossless and can also remove the slide background.

Want the deck as one document instead of separate pictures? PowerPoint to PDF makes a PDF with one slide per page; for old .ppt files there is PPT to PDF. To turn your JPGs back into a single file later, use JPG to PDF.

How close to PowerPoint will the pictures be?

Slides are drawn by a browser-based renderer, not by PowerPoint, so check the preview before converting. In practice:

  • Text uses the fonts installed on your device. If the deck uses a font you don’t have, a similar one is substituted, which can change line breaks.
  • Pictures, shapes, backgrounds, theme colours and tables usually match closely.
  • Charts, SmartArt, WordArt effects, 3D models and equations may be simplified or missing.
  • Animations and transitions are not played: every object is shown in its place, as on the printed slide. Videos, audio and speaker notes are not included.
  • Only the modern .pptx format can be read. Save an old .ppt file as .pptx in PowerPoint, LibreOffice Impress or Google Slides first.

PPTX to JPG FAQ

How do I convert a PPTX to JPG for free?

Drop the .pptx file above, choose the image width and press Convert to JPG. A ZIP with one JPG per slide downloads straight away — no sign-up and no watermark.

Is my presentation uploaded?

No. The slides are drawn and captured in your browser, and the JPG files are created on your device. Nothing is sent to Galaxy of Tools or anyone else.

Can I convert just one slide?

Yes. Type its number in the Slides box — for example 7 — and press Convert to JPG. A single slide downloads as a JPG file rather than a ZIP.

Why does my slide look different from PowerPoint?

The browser renderer uses the fonts on your device and simplifies some effects, such as SmartArt, 3D and unusual chart styles. Install the deck’s fonts or swap them for common ones, and check the preview before converting.

What resolution are the JPG images?

Exactly the width you choose — 1280, 1920 or 3840 pixels — with the height set by the slide shape. A standard 16:9 slide at 1920 px is 1920 × 1080 pixels, the same as a Full HD screen.

Can I convert an old .ppt file to JPG?

Not directly. Open it in PowerPoint, LibreOffice Impress or Google Slides, save it as .pptx, then convert that file here.
