A basketball stat tracker and printable stat sheet
This basketball stat tracker lets a coach, parent or team manager keep a full box score on a phone or tablet. Pick a player, then tap what just happened: a made or missed two, three or free throw, an offensive or defensive rebound, an assist, steal, block, turnover or foul. Points, field goal percentage, effective field goal percentage (eFG%) and true shooting percentage (TS%) update after every tap, with a team total row underneath.
A wrong tap is easy to fix: Undo removes the most recent event, one at a time. Prefer paper? The Printable sheet tab makes a blank basketball stat sheet with columns for 2PT, 3PT, FT, rebounds, assists, steals, blocks, turnovers, fouls and points, in A4 or Letter, ready to print or save as PDF or PNG.
Nothing is uploaded. Your roster and the game in progress are saved in this browser only, so they are still there if you close the tab.
How to use the Basketball Stat Sheet & Tracker
- Open Roster and enter your players’ numbers and names, or use the five placeholders. Up to 20 players can be added.
- Tap a player’s name above the buttons, then tap the stat: 2PT made, 3PT miss, Assist and so on. The number on each button is that player’s running count.
- Press Undo to take back the last tap, whoever it was for. Clear game asks for a second tap before it empties the box score.
- Read the box score table. Scroll it sideways on a phone. Download it as CSV for a spreadsheet.
- For a paper backup, open Printable sheet, choose rows and paper size, optionally fill in your roster, and press Print stat sheet.

Formulas used
Points = 2 × two-pointers made + 3 × three-pointers made + free throws made. Field goals include both twos and threes, so FGM is two-pointers plus three-pointers made, and FGA adds every miss.
FG% = FGM ÷ FGA. eFG% = (FGM + 0.5 × 3PM) ÷ FGA, which credits a three as worth one and a half twos. TS% = PTS ÷ [2 × (FGA + 0.44 × FTA)], which also counts free throws; the 0.44 factor approximates the share of free-throw attempts that end a possession. These definitions follow the NBA.com stats glossary, checked on 24 October 2026. A player who only makes threes can show an eFG% above 100%, which is correct arithmetic, not an error.
Worked example
These are the numbers the tracker shows if you tap those seven events for one player.
| Event | Count |
|---|---|
| 2PT made / missed | 2 / 1 |
| 3PT made / missed | 1 / 1 |
| FT made / missed | 1 / 1 |
| Points | 2×2 + 3 + 1 = 8 |
| FG | 3-5 = 60.0% |
| eFG% | (3 + 0.5×1) ÷ 5 = 70.0% |
| TS% | 8 ÷ [2×(5 + 0.44×2)] = 68.0% |
Limits
There is no game clock, quarter split, lineup tracking or plus-minus, and shot locations are not recorded. Fouls are counted, but the tracker does not apply a foul-out limit because it differs between leagues. Assists and rebounds are recorded exactly as you tap them, so scorers should follow the rules of their own league. Clearing browser data erases the saved game, so download the CSV before you do.

Basketball Stat Sheet & Tracker FAQ
How do I undo a wrong stat?
Press Undo. It removes the most recent tap, for any player, and you can press it repeatedly to step back further.
What is eFG% in basketball?
Effective field goal percentage adjusts FG% for threes being worth more: (FGM + 0.5 × 3PM) ÷ FGA.
What is true shooting percentage?
TS% = points ÷ [2 × (FGA + 0.44 × FTA)]. It measures scoring efficiency including free throws.
Do field goals include three-pointers?
Yes. FG counts every shot except free throws, so the 3P column is part of FG, as in a standard box score.
Can I print a blank basketball stat sheet?
Yes. Use the Printable sheet tab, choose rows and paper size, and print or download a PDF or PNG. You can fill in your roster first.
Is my team data uploaded?
No. The roster and stats are stored only in this browser on this device.
