Free printable baby shower games, ready in a minute

This page makes four classic baby shower games you can print at home: baby shower bingo cards, a baby word scramble, a baby animal names quiz and a “who knows mum best?” quiz. Add the mum-to-be’s name, pick a colour to match the decorations — pink, blue, green or anything gender-neutral — and download a PDF on A4 or US Letter paper, or print straight from the browser.

Every game comes with what the host needs: a call list for bingo, answer keys for the scramble and the animal quiz, and a sheet for the mum-to-be’s own answers so guests can be scored. Cards and puzzles come from a seed, so the same seed always reprints the same set. The games work just as well for a godh bharai, seemantham or valaikaapu as for a Western-style shower.

How to use the Baby Shower Games (Printable)

  1. Choose a game: Bingo cards, Word scramble, Baby animals quiz or Who knows mum best?
  2. Type the mum-to-be’s or parents’ name and choose a colour; change the heading if you like.
  3. For bingo, set how many cards and how many per page; edit the word list (at least 24 words). For the scramble, choose how many words.
  4. For the quiz, edit the questions — one per line, up to 16 — so they fit the guest of honour.
  5. Keep call list / answer key ticked for the host’s page, then press Print games, Download PDF or Download PNG.

How to play each game

  • Baby shower bingo: hand out a card and a pen to each guest. While the mum-to-be opens gifts — or as the host reads the call list — guests mark the items they hear. The first full row, column or diagonal wins; play on for four corners or a full card.
  • Word scramble: give everyone five minutes to unscramble the baby words. Read the answers from the key; the highest score wins.
  • Baby animal names: guests match each animal with its young — a kangaroo’s joey, a swan’s cygnet, a hare’s leveret. Sixteen pairs make a good mix of easy and tricky.
  • Who knows mum best? ask the mum-to-be to fill in her own answer sheet before the party. Guests answer the same questions; the closest set of answers wins a prize.

Tips for a smooth shower

Print one bingo card per guest plus a few spares, and one scramble, animal quiz and mum quiz sheet each. Four bingo cards fit on an A4 or Letter page; choose two per page for larger cells that are easier to read for older guests. Thicker 160 gsm paper or card makes the sheets feel like part of the decorations.

Keep games short — ten to fifteen minutes each — and alternate quiet ones such as the scramble with lively ones such as bingo. Small prizes like sweets, candles or plants work well. For the food, the party food calculator estimates quantities; for invitations try the invitation card maker, and label favours with the gift tag maker. For bingo with numbers, other grid sizes or any other theme, use the bingo card generator.

Baby Shower Games (Printable) FAQ

What are the best baby shower games?

Bingo, a word scramble, a baby animals quiz and a quiz about the mum-to-be are easy to run, need only paper and pens, and suit guests of every age. All four can be printed from this page.

Are these baby shower games free?

Yes. There is no sign-up and no watermark; the PDF and PNG are made in your browser.

How many bingo cards do I need?

One per guest, plus two or three spares. Up to 60 unique cards can be made at once, four to a page.

Can I use these games for a godh bharai or seemantham?

Yes. Edit the heading — for example “Godh Bharai Games” — and add words such as cradle, bangles or family names to the lists.

Are the games gender-neutral?

Yes. The words and questions avoid the baby’s sex, and you choose the colour.

Can guests play on their phones?

These games are made for paper. For a virtual shower, share the PDF and let guests write their answers in a chat.
